2019 a year of accomplishment

Thank you all for being such great school mates and friends this year. I´m not leaving just yet, 1 more year and I´ll be gone. 

What a wonderful year it has been 2019. I have enjoyed everything this year, except for athletics day. If you know me, you will understand.

It´s going to be hard to start saying 2020 now. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

                        

the beach education trip

Yesterday  the 3rd of December we had the beach education trip and I had so much fun. This was a great experience . My favorite game was the one with the sponge and  we had to fill up the bucket first . Please share your experience of the beach education trip with me .

Tuesday 27 march 2O1O

Dear diary  today was better than the last
because I got to go to the market with Father as always
but there was a boy there running around give out tea 
to the people that couldn't leave their stalls I could do
that but Father said no because I was a girl. When we
got back home Mother was cleaning  the cupboard with
Nooria. She told me to fill up the water tank to the top that
would mean I had to do 5 runs to the well mother did not
like to see an empty tank  “why can't Nooria do it . Mother
said, “If you had done it yesterday You wouldn't have so
many runs to do today I rushed down the stairs so that I
could get it all over with When I come back mother is
preparing dinner When I come back Dinner is ready I sit
down to have it then we start talking and
laughing..boom..Taliban Soldiers burst through the door 2
grab hold of father The other one's search the house .....

 We  had  just  got  back  from  the   Richie  Patterson   talk  and  he  told  us  that  sports  has  their  own  values  just  like  owairaka  they  were  friendship , excellence  and  respect .  and  that  failure is OK    and he told us some of his life that relates to weight lifting.

Day 1 : Fish island

Foolishly, the  uninformed people carry their furniture into there new home .  The fish begins to move and while the people are in the house it takes them to a empty beach. With overly thick fog the family slowly separates  .

Full of confusion,  the little boy and his teddy (the only survivors) came across a old rickety bridge not yet knowing that a grizzly bear was close behind the boy and his teddy were not  going to cross the bridge but as soon as the big grizzly bear raises up on his 2 back legs and then roars at the boy and his teddy   he runs on the bridge and snap snap AHHHHH!!! he lands in the middle of a Forrest only 1 tree in sight .

Slowly, the boy and his teddy walk around the only tree to find a mysterious portal  the boy and his teddy step  in ....

Day 3: the ghostly shadow

 Mysteriously, the ghoulish shadow stands between the deceased trees and the rusted fences . the milky haze cuts off my view of the unsightly figure . It was like one second you saw it and the next you didn't.

Day 2: The Arctic Journey

Quietly, the adorable dogs continue working to bring the little girl to shelter . There is not a cloud in sight in the clear sky, until the sky went black. then the ground beneath him started to shatter. The raft started to sink , the Ice started  to melt and the dogs started to panic . the tall mountains in the background stand like skyscrapers. the dogs will drown if she does not hurry , they need to make it to a clump of snow and get comfortable. 

Art exhibition 2019

This term we have been working hard on our art to get ready for the art exhibit so that parents can see there children s work and because it was the schools 90th Ra whanau ( Maori for birthday ) here is the piece that I liked best.

I like this one because it is a very beautiful piwakawaka ( fantail )

Day 1 : The greatest library

Happily, the girl reads and soon the library comes to life....this was no ordinary library. The comfortable blue chair complements the messy red library floor, yet the books on the ground find their way back to the full shelves . The stacks of books take flight with the thin pages of fine paper, soon the girl is surrounded by  flying books . The girl reads a mixture of  hard backs and soft backs  . soon the girl is flying with the help of the books they take her to a cold place and place her on a raft .

The Film Festival

Today we went to the film festival at the civic on queen street. We watched a series of short films. It was a very large theater. Room 24 had lots of fun .

I liked this one because it was  the opposite to the truth because the snails were dancing quite fast and they are normally slow

I liked this one because it is very accurate and funny the sloth gets a ice cream and it melts before  it can get to his mouth.

This one was my favorite because it was hilarious  and it had a great beat.
